Soul Food Daily Loaf

This ready made loaf mixture is easy to make with only a few extra ingredients!

You will also need:

1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp Melted Coconut Oil
350ml Water

Instructions:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients from the bag in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk all the wet ingredients together, then add to dry ingredients.
  3. Mix until thoroughly combined (add 1-2 tbsp extra water if mixture is too stiff to mix).
  4. Cover with a cloth and leave to rest for at least 2 hours (or overnight).
  5. Dough is ready if it hold its shape when you pull it away from the edge of the bowl.
  6. Preheat the oven to 175°C and place dough into a loaf tin lined with baking paper.
  7. Bake on the centre rack of the oven for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from the loaf tin and return to the oven, upside down directly on oven rack.
  9. Bake for an extra 30-40 minutes until crust is a golden colour and the bread sounds hollow when you knock it.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
